Diane Roberts

DIANE ROBERTS
Chief Executive Officer

Diane has extensive experience working in public, private and not-for-profit sector organizations. She brings a unique, diversified background and education to her role which includes: operations management, human resource management, project management, business process development & re-engineering, procurement management, strategic & operational planning, real estate asset management, facilitation, compensation management, organizational analysis and design, and formal writing skills. She has a diploma in Business Administration, CAPM Designation, Graduate Certificates from RRU in Strategic HR Management, Risk Contract & Procurement Management, a RETS graduate from UBC, and she is also a published author.

Michael Marti

Chief Financial Officer

Michael is a Chartered Professional Accountant having practiced with Price Waterhouse and then moving into management roles as a CFO, COO, and CEO of private and public companies. For the last thirty years he has worked in a variety of industries and has led companies with multiple locations in Canada and internationally. As a CEO his work was recognized by his peers in which he was a finalist in the manufacturing category of the E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year (Ontario) awards. Michael has developed innovative business partnerships with companies including mergers and acquisitions in Canada and the USA and raised over $100 million in capital for the businesses he managed. He brings his extensive financial expertise and entrepreneurial acumen as a financial advisor to and controller for one of Canada’s largest non-profit organizations addressing climate change issues.

Nicki Lewis
Operations Manager

Nicki joined the SCRAP-IT team in 2009. She oversees the administration and financial aspects of all programs delivered by SCRAP-IT. She is also responsible for managing the Dealer Allocation program, coordinating and working with over 150 New Car Dealers within BC.

With over 20 years of diverse experience across the construction, engineering, and hospitality industries, Alan has developed a robust and reliable skill set in controllership, project accounting, budget management, and forecast development. He is passionate about leveraging his expertise to help organizations achieve their missions and enhance operational efficiencies, particularly within non-profits and charitable organizations, where he strives to create meaningful social impact through his work.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Alan cherishes spending quality time with his family and is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of those around him every day.

Administrative Assistant

Karen performs a variety of administrative duties including finance, program management and other general office duties. She is the key contact for customer inquiries related to the BC E-Bike Rebate Program.

George is responsible for the ongoing maintenance of SCRAP-IT’s custom databases. He provides quality assurance support on custom web application systems and general internal IT support.

Steve Stewart

Steve Stewart, PHD
Consultant

Steve is a professional engineer. He currently provides consulting services in the areas of vehicle technology and policy to both Provincial and Federal governments. As the former Operations Manager and Senior Project Engineer for the AirCare Program in BC he has over 21 years of extensive experience in systematic testing of road vehicles and emissions. Steve holds a PhD. From the University of Manchester, an MSc., Mechanical Engineering from the University of Manchester and a BSc. Hons, in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Bristol.

Brenda Floyd

Brenda Floyd
Consultant

Brenda has extensive public sector experience in program and policy development, implementation, and delivery. She led the implementation of a provincial call centre for the delivery of income assistance services in the largest region of the province as well as a virtual provincial call centre for the delivery of information services for the Residential Tenancy Branch, pioneering a work from home program. She has most recently held key management and supervisory roles in the successful planning and delivery of two provincial and one federal election. Brenda’s other skills include project management, strategic and operational planning, and human resource management.  She holds degrees from the University of Alberta (BSC) and University of Victoria (Social Work).
